ChromaCam cannot be detected.

I own a logitech c922. I cant use the chroma cam like i used to. OBS/Skype's drop down menu for video capture do not show chroma cam. Is there any way I can fix this?

Hi Bryan, sorry for the trouble. With the raft of recent Windows Updates, some of the GPU drivers aren’t keeping pace as fast, which can affect graphics related output like camera feeds, etc. Updating them should solve this for you.

In the Windows Search bar type “device manager”. Then click on the “display adapter” drop down. Locate your GPU, right click on it and then “update driver software.”
Did that help at all? What you need to also do is update any other GPU drivers as well. For me, in device manager > display adapter. I have my nVidia GPU there, but I also have a listing for Intel HD Graphics. Right-clicking and updating the drivers for this listing is necessary too.

Wish I had the answer but found this thread after having the same issue. I double checked my GPU drivers and everything is up to date. I uninstalled and reinstalled the ChromaCam software with no luck. I can get my c922 to appear as an option but ChromaCam will not show up.

Ok, let’s try a slightly different set of steps Nathan

1. delete the folder “C:\Program Files (x86)\Personify” – you will likely need to close your web browser in order for this to complete.
2. delete the folder “localappdata\Personify”
3. delete the folder “localappdata\Personify,_Inc”
4. download the latest version (v1.2.2.2) of chromacam from our website here
5. run the installer

Try these steps in that order, let me know if you have any questions. We’ll go from there if you’re still having issues.

I have run in to the same issues

Tried updated nVidia drivers
restarted computer
did the above steps and installed beta version
no luck showing up in skype desktop still

Logitech c922, windows 10

Same issue here. Just installed the C922 to replace my c920. Installed ChromaCam1.2.2. My C922 works in Skype, but no option for ChromaCam. Same with Google Hangouts. All GPU drivers are up to date.

Theron, can you restart your computer after deleting and running the installer. It might need a reboot to properly “take”

Running into the exact same issue. Chromacam will not show as an option in Xsplit. I have reinstalled both programs numerous times, deleted all files, restarted. And I cannot get it to work.

-AMD fx 8320
-16gb ram
-1070 gtx 8gb
